Environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors of Manganese ore mining

Research study providing detailed information on the Environmental Social Governance (ESG) factors facing the Manganese ore value chain.

The extractive sector is increasingly being shaped by environmental, social, and governance (ESG) imperatives. As such, it is important for those engaged in mining and refining supply chains to understand the diverse and evolving ESG landscape, and incorporate this understanding, where relevant, into their working practices and business models. For this reason, the IMnI, which represents Manganese ore and alloy producers, manufacturers of downstream Manganese products, and other actors engaged in the Manganese supply chain, commissioned this study of the ESG factors facing the Manganese ore value chain.
