Health, Safety and Environment Committee Overview

The objectives of IMnI’s HSE Committee are:

  • To identify those HSE topics that can impact the Mn industry.
  • To establish and employ a global network that can provide appropriate HSE expertise to IMnI, when necessary.
  • To provide relevant information and support to members so as to enable them to promote and pro-actively defend their interests when faced with new regulatory proposals.

Health, Safety and Environment Committee Policy

The Health, Environmental and Safety Committee shall be responsible for the organization and guidance of IMnI’s activities relating to Health, Environmental, and Safety issues regarding manganese products.

Rocklin Reed joined the Ore & Metal Company as Group Senior Manager for Safety Health Environment Risk & Quality (SHERQ) in 2017. After initially studying and qualifying in the field of Analytical Chemistry, Rocklin has fulfilled various HSE Specialist, Project and Leadership roles within BHP Billiton (Aluminium) and Rio Tinto (Titanium and Heavy Minerals) over a period of 21 years.
