Objectives and History

 

The International Manganese Institute, also known as IMnI, is a not-for-profit industry association that represents manganese ore and alloy producers, manufacturers of metallurgical products or chemical compounds, trading houses, industry service providers, universities and research organizations around the world. Founded in 1975, with headquarters in Paris, France

Meet the Team

 

IMnI has a staff of six. The Executive Director (Aloys d´Harambure), the HSE and Regulatory Affairs Manager (Agnieszka Leopold), the Market Research Analyst (Miao Yu) & the Business Administrator (Valerie Breliere) are based at the Paris headquarters. The China Representative (Eva Yang) is based in Shanghai (China) and the India Market Analyst (Sam Mitra) in India.

IMnI’s activities are guided by policy statements developed working closely with IMnI’s Superboard and various committees. In addition, IMnI has developed an Anti-Trust Policy which establishes clear guidelines for IMnI staff and member activities with respect to anti-trust issues. Furthermore, each committee has a specific policy defining the scope of its purpose
