CBAM Developments
The European Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is a result of the European Green Deal put forward in the EU in December 2019. It is conceived to complement the European Union’s Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS) in its carbon leakage aspects.
The IMnI published a special report on CBAM with the support of a regulatory consultant, to examine recent CBAM developments and assess their implication for the Manganese industry.
