Manganese slag chemical characteristics, utilization possibilities and metal recovery optimization - Phase 1
HSE
IMnI, in partnership with Envitop, conducted a worldwide study on ferromanganese (FeMn) and silicomanganese (SiMn) slags across the EU, South Africa, Malaysia, Gabon, USA, Brazil, Mexico, China, and India. Completed in May 2025, the project comprised three phases but each phase is available for purchase, and you will acquire phase 1 only when selecting this product:
- Phase 1 – Manganese Slag Chemical Characteristics (Report completed in Oct 2024): High manganese content and very low leachability support potential reclassification of SiMn slag as a product.
Guided by global experts, the reports provide comprehensive insights into Mn alloy slag management, supporting sustainable practices and circular economy initiatives for industry stakeholders.
