IMnI Launches Its Guidance on Manganese Carbon Footprint Methodology

IMnI is pleased to announce the launch of its Manganese Carbon Footprint Methodology, a guide for best practices in calculating the "cradle to gate" carbon footprint of manganese alloys.

This guidance provides LCA practitioners with a standardized approach to calculating the climate change impact (CO2eq) of manganese alloys, including raw materials like manganese ores, sinter, silica, fluxes, remelts, and reductants.

While ISO 14044 offers general life cycle assessment guidance, this document tailors the standard to the specific needs of the manganese industry.
