Giyani Metals Corp. is a Canadian company listed on the Toronto Venture Exchange developing a high purity Manganese sulphate project in Botswana, Africa, to feed the growing battery demand for electric vehicles. Through its subsidiary in Botswana, Giyani holds several manganese oxide ore prospects, including the past-producing Kgakgwe Hill (K.Hill), Otse and Lobatse prospects.

Giyani recently released a feasibility study for the K.Hill Project giving a post-tax NPV8 of US$481M for production of around 80,000 mt per annum of high purity manganese sulphate through a low-carbon hydrometallurgical process directly from ore. In 2023, it will commission a demonstration plant to produce samples for consumer qualification and offtake commitment.
