Aloys d'Harambure
Executive Director
Aloys d’Harambure joined the IMnI in December 2014. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a Master’s of Science in Administration from l’Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales, Montreal’s prestigious business school. Prior to joining the IMnI, he was the Business Analyst at the International Chromium Development Association.
Agnieszka Leopold
HSE and Regulatory Affairs Manager
Dr. Agnieszka Leopold holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Chemical Technology from the Poznan University of Technology in Poznan, Poland and a PhD in Chemical Process Engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain. She has an extensive knowledge of the world of chemistry gained having worked in the following fields: research and development in chemical engineering, chemical products safety and regulatory affairs compliance, intellectual property (patents, trademarks, confidential agreements) in chemistry.
Valerie Breliere
Business Administrator
Valerie Brelière joined the IMnI in March 2006. As Business Administrator, she handles the logistics for the Annual Conference, other events and meetings, along with the office management.
Prior to coming to the Institute, she spent 15 years with Sebia, a French manufacturer of innovative laboratory instruments and reagents, as the Executive Assistant to the President, the Subsidiary Manager and the Export Manager.
She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English from l’Université de Bordeaux and a Diploma in Public Relations, Communication and International Trade.
Miao Yu
Market Research Analyst
Miao Yu started at the International Manganese Institute in 2021 as Market Research Analyst, and is in charge of collecting information on the Manganese, steel and battery markets, in China and in the rest of the world.
Eva Yang
China Representative
Eva Yang joined the IMnI in August 2018 as China representative. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Anhui University of Technology. Prior to joining IMnI, she has worked for Eramet Comilog and OM Holdings over the last years, and already knows most of the Chinese IMnI Members. Eva's mission is to further improve the market research coverage of the Chinese market, facilitate networking between China and the rest of the world, and organise IMnI events in China.
Sam Mitra
India Market Analyst
Dr. Sam Mitra graduated in Mining Engineering from the Indian School of Mines in 1986, and completed his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, India, thereafter. A British Chevening Scholar (Leeds University Business School, 1998), he earned his Ph.D. in Mineral Economics from the University of Dundee, Scotland, the U.K.
Sam has worked with Tata Steel Limited and Tata International Limited, in India, managing and often building up the international businesses of Minerals, Metals and Ferro Alloys across the globe for nearly 23 years. Post his early retirement in 2013, he has been actively engaged in global trading of minerals and ferro-alloys, and consultancy. He continues to research and write on current issues in mineral economics, and speaks at renowned Indian and international forums on the steel-making raw materials.
