China Committee
The IMnI China Committee has a mandate to:
- Enlarge IMnI’s presence and influence in China, and
- Further communication and cooperation between Chinese and non-Chinese companies involved in the manganese industry and with government departments and research institutes on topics including, but not limited to, technical issues, regulatory affairs, and health, safety and environmental issues (HSE).

Deng "Dan" Guohong
Mr. Deng Guohong (Dan), Chairman of Inner Mongolia Chayouqianqi Mengfa Ferroalloy Co., Ltd., boasts over 30 years of experience in the manganese industry. Since joining the International Manganese Institute (IMnI) in 2017, he has consistently promoted in-depth exchanges and cooperation between China's manganese sector and its global counterparts with an open and inclusive approach.
Mr. Deng Guohong is also the Chairman of the IMnI China Technical Sub-Division.

General Manager, Carbon Steel Alloys Department
Mr. Lei FeiMs. Wang Ning joined China Minmetals Corporation in 2007, after getting Master degree of Business from University of New South Wales, Australia. With more than 10 years career in Ferroalloys Industry, Ms. Wang is highly experienced in the trading of metals and minerals. In her present role as General Manager of Carbon Steel Alloys Department, she is in charge of all the manganese ore and alloys business in China Minmetals. She has comprehensive understanding of China’s ferroalloys industry and market.

Executive Director
A French national, Laurent has more than 20 years of experience in the metals industry. His metals career started at Eramet where he held various leadership positions in Tokyo, Paris, Taipei and then Shanghai.
More recently, Laurent ran from Singapore the Asian non-ferrous metals book of a Swiss commodities physical trading house, prior to leading from France partnership development and metal feedstock procurement in the traction battery value chain.e.
Eva Yang
China Representative
Eva Yang joined the IMnI in August 2018 as China representative. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Anhui University of Technology. Prior to joining IMnI, she has worked for Eramet Comilog and OM Holdings over the last years, and already knows most of the Chinese IMnI Members. Eva's mission is to further improve the market research coverage of the Chinese market, facilitate networking between China and the rest of the world, and organise IMnI events in China.
Miao Yu
Market Research Analyst
Miao Yu started at the International Manganese Institute in 2021 as Market Research Analyst, and is in charge of collecting information on the manganese, steel and battery markets, in China and in the rest of the world.
