Biography
Dr. Cline joined the International Manganese Institute (IMnI) in September 2017. He gained 10 years of experience in academic research before receiving his PhD (Doctor rerum naturalium) from the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg. For the past 7 years, he has specialized in behavioral and systems neuroscience and has extensive experience in translational studies. His prior postings before joining IMnI include the Institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale (INSERM) and the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS). Dr. Cline also holds a dual BSc in biology and chemistry along with a MSc in forensic science. In 2000, he began his scientific career at the University of California San Diego, Hilcrest Medical Center with the Department of Psychiatry.
