Overview:

The IMnI Electrolytic Products Division (EPD)

IMnI’s third division of membership, the “Electrolytic Products Division”, is open to companies manufacturing manganese-based electrolytic products such as electrolytic manganese dioxide (EMD) and electrolytic manganese metal (EMM). End-uses for such products range from batteries to stainless steel.

Today, the production of EMM and EMD is mostly Chinese.

The EPD:

- Focuses the activities of the IMnI on behalf of the global manganese industry to include the specific interests of producers of electrolytic manganese metal and electrolytic manganese dioxide. Collects, organizes and distributes aggregated, historical trade data for the products of the membership.
- Acts as a forum for discussion of industry matters relating to the development and use of the products produced by the EPD membership.

Professoriate Senior Engineer (Mechanical Engineering), Enjoys the special allowance of the State Council, honored with “Outstanding Experts” by the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, got EMBA Degree of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, appointed as Master Tutor and part-time professor by universities. He is Chairman of South Manganese Group Limited, a member of IMnI Supervisory Board and the Chairman of EPD, Director of National Technical Committee of Manganese Industry.
